Where can I enter Kingspan Stadium?
Kingspan Stadium is situated at 134 Mount Merrion Avenue, Belfast, BT6 0FT
Match day entry points are located on Mount Merrion Avenue and Onslow Parade
Non-Match day entry is via Mount Merrion Avenue.
What if I have special access requirements?
Kingspan Stadium is fully accessible offering a limited number of disabled parking spaces, wheelchair accessible turnstiles at both entrances and lifts to optimal viewing places within the Grandstand, Memorial Stand and Family Stand. For full details please visit Special Access.

What are the Stadium Regulations?
By entering the Kingspan Stadium grounds you have signed up to adhere to the Stadium Regulations, which Staff at Ulster Rugby work to uphold. Read the full detail of all Stadium Regulations.

What are the opening hours of the Ulster Rugby Official Merchandise Kukri store?
Monday to Friday 9 am - 5 pm
Saturday 10 am - 2 pm
During home games, the shop is open from when the gates open up to 60 minutes after the final whistle.

Are there smoking areas within the stadium?

Smoking is permitted in the open spaces behind the Grandstand, Memorial End Stand and the Premium Stand.
Smoking and the use of electronic cigarettes is not permitted in any building, enclosed space or in any part of the stadium viewing bowl.
Is there an ATM machine in the stadium?
Yes, there is an ATM located in the Fan Zone at the back end of the Memorial Stand on the east side.

Are there baby changing facilities onsite?
Yes, baby changing facilities are available in clearly marked designated areas.

How do I book tickets?
Tickets for Ulster Rugby home games can be purchased in the following ways:

How do I book a special access ticket?
If you require a match ticket for a wheelchair accessible area or for any other area where the ticket holder requires an essential companion/carer, please email Jennifer McFedries.

I have small children - where is the best place to sit?
The best place to sit would be in our Abbey Insurance Family Stand, located at the Aquinas End of the ground. In this area, tickets start at £15 for children and £29 for adults.

What is the service charge when booking tickets and how can I avoid this?
Each ticket booked online incurs a charge which is a percentage of the ticket value e.g. the Ticketmaster fee for a £20 ticket is £2.25 per ticket. By phone, a £2.50 fee is charged per booking which includes printing and posting of tickets. There are no charges for customers who call at the Ticket Office in person.

Where do I collect my tickets and what must I bring with me?
You can collect pre-paid tickets from the Ticket Booth located on Onslow Parade when the gates open to the stadium. The card used at the time of booking is required.

Can I swap my tickets from one match to another or one seating/standing location to another?
There is no exchange or refund on tickets purchased so please ensure that tickets purchased are correct and meet your needs.

I ordered my ticket online but it has not been posted out yet - where can I collect it?
You can collect your ticket from the Ticket Booth located on Onslow Parade.

I've lost my ticket for a forthcoming match - what should I do?
Contact the Ticket Office on 028 9049 3222 (option 2) with details of your transaction as soon as possible to organise replacements. Should you forget or lose your ticket on match night please visit the Ticket Booth located on Onslow Parade. A fee may apply for any tickets that need to be reprinted.

What is the re-admission policy?
Re-admission may be granted at the discretion of the stewards - please speak to them before leaving to confirm re-entry. If you leave without confirmation your ticket will be invalid for re-entry.

How do I get to Kingspan Stadium, Belfast?

Kingspan Stadium is located in Belfast, less than 3 miles (10 minutes) from the City Centre and easy access by air, sea, road or rail.


BY BUS - MATCH NIGHTS
A Metro Rugby Bus service to Kingspan Stadium is provided by Translink each match day. Buses depart from the Europa Bus Centre, Belfast (1 hour before kick-off), picking up at Chichester Street (SS Moore; 55 minutes before kick-off), East Bridge Street (Central Station; 50 minutes before kick-off) and arriving at Kingspan Stadium (30 minutes before kick-off). After the match, the bus will return to City Centre and the Europa Bus Centre.

BY CAR - NON-MATCH NIGHTS
General access to Kingspan Stadium is solely via the Mount Merrion Avenue gate. This applies to both vehicular and pedestrian access and will operate on all occasions with the exception of match days.

From locations on the M1 or M2 take the exit onto M3 toward City Airport/Bangor/Lagan Bridge. Take the A2 exit toward Newcastle/Belfast, turn left onto Middlepath Street, followed by a slight right onto the Newtownards Road. Turn right onto Bridge End then a slight left onto Short Strand/A23, continue to follow Short Strand, turn left toward Albertbridge Road/A20. Take the first right onto Woodstock Link, continue onto Woodstock Road, continue onto Cregagh Road. At the roundabout turn right to follow Mount Merrion Avenue. The Mount Merrion entry gate will be on your right (GPS co-ordinates: N 54°34.635 W5°54.144).

Visitors should use the car park located directly inside the Mount Merrion Avenue entrance then report to reception in the Administration Building.


BY CAR - ON MATCH NIGHTS - PARK AND RIDE
Parking around Kingspan Stadium is strictly for residents only. Supporters travelling by car are encouraged to make use of the FREE Park and Ride services provided by Belfast Bus Company.
Park and Ride locations:

Pirrie Park on the Ravenhill Road side of the ground (Methody Playing Fields Car Park)
Montgomery Road along the Mount Merrion side of the ground (opposite Podium for Sport).
Return buses operate constantly from these Park and Ride locations 90 minutes prior to the game and 90 minutes after the final whistle.


BY CAR - ON MATCH NIGHTS - DISABLED ACCESS
A small number of disabled car parking spaces are available within Kingspan Stadium on a match-by-match basis.
These parking facilities are available on request from the ticket office 3 weeks before each game and allocated on a first come basis. To book, please contact Jennifer McFredries.

Please note disabled car parking facilities are subject to the following restrictions:
Cars must be stationary within Kingspan Stadium 15 minutes prior to gates opening. It is your responsibility to check and confirm the gate opening time with the ticket office before the match. Late arrivals will be denied access.
Blue badge holders must display their blue badges at all times whilst parked.
After the match, you must refrain from moving your vehicle until instructed by the Safety Officer that it is safe to do so. The disabled parking bays are situated in a busy post-match area of the ground, you will have to wait at least 45 minutes before instructed that it is safe to move.
If you are unable to secure disabled parking within the stadium, we encourage you to consider the free Park and Ride facility.


BY RAIL
Belfast's Central Station is located just 2 miles from (8 minutes) from the stadium. Upon exiting the train station, take a right on Bridge Street towards Albertbridge Road, take a right onto Woodstock Road leading onto Cregagh Road. At the roundabout take right to follow Mount Merrion Avenue. The stadium will be on the right. Approximate walking time: 20 minutes.

Ulster Rugby's Official Taxi Partner, Fonacab, provide transfers to and from Kingspan Stadium.

On Match Nights FonaCab operate as soon as crowd movement permits. This service runs continuously from outside the Reception up to 90 minutes after the final whistle. Those requiring a taxi should queue within the grounds, not on Mount Merrion Avenue.

Match Night FAQs

Can I bring my own food and drink into the stadium?
No, you are not permitted to bring your own food and drink into the stadium. A range of hot and cold food and drink options are available from the Food Village and at the various bars located throughout the stadium.

Can I bring food purchased in the Food Village into the Premium Lounge?
Food purchased in the Food Village can NOT be brought into the Premium Lounge. The Premium Lounge offers a tempting range of high-quality food options and limited queues in a cosy, dry environment meaning you have little need to venture outside.

Where can I buy an Ulster Rugby match programme?
Match programmes are available for purchase at various points throughout the stadium, including the Onslow Parade, Mount Merrion Avenue and Aquinas entrances. Simply look out for our high-vis wearing programme sellers. A digital version can be accessed online via www.ulsterrugbydigital.com.

What items are not permitted into Kingspan Stadium?
Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:

  • Bottles
  • Cans
  • Sticks
  • Air horns
  • Weapons or fireworks
  • Alcohol, beverages or food
  • Illegal drugs or noxious substances
  • Professional cameras, sound and/or video recording devices
  • Pets (Except guide dogs and animals assisting visitors with disabilities).

SECURITY NOTICE: Increased security measures are in place, therefore, please allow extra time to access Kingspan Stadium and get to your designated area. We thank you in advance for your co-operation.

Backpacks, suitcases, hand luggage and other large items (including long lens cameras) are not be permitted into the stadium.

Small bags or handbags (no larger than 35 x 40 x 19cm) are allowed but may be subject to search.
