Head Coach

Former Ireland, London Irish, Ulster and Connacht scrumhalf, Kieran Campbell, was appointed Head of the Hughes Insurance Ulster Rugby Academy in March 2015. He played 115 times for Ulster between 2001 and 2008. Within this period Ulster won the Celtic cup in 2003 and Celtic League in 2006.

He was offered the Elite Performance Development Officer role in 2012 and worked as the Academy's backs specialist for two years before being appointed to the role of Academy Manager (Acting) in July 2014 and subsequently Academy Manager in February 2015.

Campbell was Head Coach of the team that won the U19 inter-provincial championship in the 2012/13 season and the Ulster U20s which won the inter-provincial championship for the second time in three years this season. He is the current Head Coach of the Ulster Ravens and Ireland U19. He has overall responsibility for the Academy High Performance Pathway.
